Stephen Wilson
STEPHEN WILSON
Stephen Wilson is the head of our personal injury department. He joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1979 and became a partner in 1985. Stephen has specialised in litigation since 1993 and now deals exclusively with personal injury cases for claimants. Stephen is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel and is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. Stephen sits as a Deputy District Judge at courts in the Midlands area and is a past President of Lincolnshire Law Society.
   
Alison Hurton  
ALISON HURTON
Alison Hurton studied law at The University of Hull and undertook the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in York.  She joined Thimbleby Fisher as a Trainee Solicitor in February 1997 and qualified in February 1999.  She became a partner in January 2002.  Since qualifying Alison has specialised in litigation work, and in particular on acting for claimants in personal injury claims.  Alison also has some experience of private client work
 
Andrew Durkan  
ANDREW DURKAN
Andrew Durkan graduated in 1992 from Manchester University. He joined the firm as a trainee in 1995 and became a Partner in 2003. Andrew has specialised in litigation work since qualifying as a solicitor and now deals exclusively with personal injury cases for claimants. He is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel.
 
Kelly Fretwell  
KELLY FRETWELL
Kelly Fretwell read for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Criminology at the University of Sheffield before completing her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. She commenced her Training Contract with the firm in September 2004 and trained in various departments before joining the Claims department. Kelly is now an assistant solicitor dealing with all types of Claimant based Personal Injury and Public Law matters. Kelly is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
