Ian Baker - Partner
Apart from his time at Law Society colleges, Ian has lived in Lincoln all his life. Ian trained with the Lincoln solicitors, Hodgson, Carlyle & Co, qualifying as a solicitor in 1979. He became a partner in that firm in 1980 and became a partner in Sills & Betteridge in 1990 following the merger of the two firms. Ian has always specialised in property work and since 1994 has headed up the firm's residential Conveyancing Department.
     
 
Peter Burton
Prior to joining Sills & Betteridge's Residential Conveyancing Team in 2004 Peter worked for 34 years for another firm of solicitors in Lincoln specialising in Residential Conveyancing work. Peter became an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1978
   
Tracy Wray  
Tracy Wray
From school Tracy joined Hodgson, Carlyle & Co in 1984 and (apart from maternity leave) has worked continuously for that firm and then Sills & Betteridge. Starting as a secretary primarily dealing with property work, Tracy has since 1996 progressed to the position of conveyancing paralegal, largely handling her own case loads.
   
 
David Stapleton
David is originally from Louth in Lincolnshire and studied for his degree in law at the University of Birmingham. He trained as a solicitor in Scunthorpe and now specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing. David joined Sills & Betteridge in March 2007. When not at work, David is a keen amateur photographer and is Media Director at his local church.
   
Heather Bushell  
Heather Bushell
Prior to joining Thimblebys just over 10 years ago, Heather worked for a solicitors in Horncastle and Boston.  She specialises in residential and estate Conveyancing and is an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives.
