Contesting a Will

You may find yourself in the unfortunate position where you or someone else is contesting the validity of the Will of a loved one. You may also find that you have been left without reasonable financial provision as a dependant of someone who has died.

We can help you by dealing with:

  • Claims that a will is not valid or doubts as to whether a will is valid.
  • Probate disputes involving say the removal of a personal representative who has failed to act or acted wrongly.
  • Claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

We realise that such claims are stressful and can be expensive. Our aim is to advise you on the costs implications and likelihood of success in any proposed or actual litigation. We also aim to deal with such disputes in an understanding, professional way with a view to resolving the matters, with court proceedings if necessary as quickly as possible.
